To wake up your appetite for music Transkaukazja Team recommends you first Warsaw Holiday of Music, which will take place on 21st of June 2011.


Holiday of Music is a pioneering event in Warsaw:

• urban space will constitute main stages: performances will take place in squares, parks, gateways, backyards of tenements, in restaurant gardens,
• there are no entry tickets, queues; audience can stroll in the city accompanied by music performed by professional musicians or amateurs, they all love music equally strongly and that’s way they decided to play for you for free:

Till now more than 140 bands, which gives us more than 500 artists, have entered for the festival. Among them:

• 30 instrumental bands,
• 45 bands of various music genres,
• 25 rock bands,
• 15 choirs,
• 5 orchestras,
• many soloists.

The main music crash will be located in Music Quarter, where will be celebrating:

• 31 restaurants, bars and cafés,
• 37 gateways, squares and backyards.

There will be also some stages:

• Hoover square
• Patio of Music University
• Churches, among others: Wizytki nuns on Krakowskie Przedmieście street
• Stage on Smolna street
• Praga Park – Koneser
• Skaryszewski Park
• Stage on Warsaw University campus
