Workshop for young artists and studenst of art academies conducted by Wato Tseretli - curator, artist, founder of the Center of Contemporary Art in Tbilisi.

Wato Tsereteli: "The idea is that young artists /students will meet together and think on possible alternatives for social, environmental, economical structures.  Each of them might think on own project concerning personal issues. (...) the correspondence between the projects will show diverse visionary options."

Every participant can bring his own materials if wants to.

Wato Tsereteli
is an artist/ photographer/curator and creative administrator; studied film in Tbilisi; obtained MA from the department of Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp (Belgium). Wato’s artistic works are 2/3/4 dimensional objects with well structured spatial organization in/of them. Wato initiated: Caucasian Center of Cultural Development (Media Art Farm/Institute of Photography and New Media), Cumbo group (free artist run space). He curated international art exhibitions: APPENDIX and multiple exhibitions and projects of contemporary art. Recently he established the first in Georgia Center of Contemporary Art. The center serves as education, research and exhibition platform for artists and art professionals. The Center of Contemporary Art – Tbilisi have already realized number of exhibitions and presentations of local and international artists.
