PArticipate in DepARtments! An interdisciplinary project "DepARTments" will be held In Warsaw City Centre, from the 24th till the 27th of May 2012, as well as open debate about cities cultural policies. During depARTments walks only two viewers at the same time will explore each of our map points - the part of unusual Warsaw central spaces.An interdisciplinary project "DepARTments" will be held In Warsaw City Centre, from the 24th till the 27th of May 2012. It will be the first non-festival project of Transkaukazja, which is taking place this year.
DepARTments re-opens the strict city centre of Warsaw and changes wide-spread connotations connected to these highly attended places in Śródmieście district.
The initiative is created with the help of curators, artists and activists from 8 countries: Austria, Azerbaijan,Czech Republic, Germany, Poland and Ukraine. This is the first non-festal project of Transkaukazja in 2012.
The project combines interdisciplinary art-walks in various areas (including the daily unused buildings in Śródmieście district) and is based on the creative work of many teams which work together: the internationally renowned artists and local residents of neighboring communities and the host of unusual places.
