Just a few days ... and nine artists from Caucasus will arrive in Germany for artist in residence! Curated by Elena Pagel the artists from “Maf group” (Tbilisi, GE), ”Art-Laboratory” (Yerevan, AM) and “5th Floor” (Gyumri, AM) stay in Leipzig, Chemnitz and Dresden for eight weeks in the frame of Transkaukazja project!The artists will work interdisciplinarly under the frame title “With Marshroutka from Caucasus to Germany” which will be shown to the public with a final presentation. Meanwhile the artists will use the time also for getting in touch with local audience and artist’s scene and will participate in cultural and artistic events. Local coordinators will take care about the artists and their special needs.
Giorgi Mozgovoi, Giorgi Dadiani and Maia Abashidze from MAF GROUP (Tbilisi) will stay in Leipzig at artist in residence house "fugitif".
Edgar Amroyan, Ara Petrosyan and Garik Engibaryan from ART-LABORATORY (Yerevan) will stay in Chemnitz at socio-cultural artist centre "Kompott/Urbane Polemik".
Arman Tadevosyan, Aleksey Manukyan and Yeghiazar Movsisyan from art group 5th FLOOR (Gyumri) will work in Dresden at art centre "Blaue Fabrik".
