The Last Tightrope Dancer in Armenia is a wonderful story of an orphan boy, who is the last student of tightrope dancing. The story of the last tightrope dancer is a local story, unfolding in a small country. The theme, however, can be found throughout every society in the world: the loss of tradition, and the shift of social values in the face of globalization. The Last Tightrope Dancer in Armenia was awarded The Best Documentary at 39th Dance on Camera Film Festival in New York, U.S. and many others.
